Las Vegas, NV – June 23, 2025 — After a deep and focused Day 1, the $2,500 Women in Poker High Roller resumes at The Venetian with 39 players remaining. This event has already secured its place in history as the largest High Roller tournament ever held for women, and today, that field plays down to seven final table contenders.

Play begins at noon, with blinds restarting at 2,000/3,000 and a 3,000 big blind ante. Levels now last 60 minutes, and players will compete until the final seven remain. Those finalists will return tomorrow (June 24) for a professionally produced live-streamed final table — a rare spotlight moment in the women’s game.

A Structure Worth Celebrating

One of the most widely praised aspects of this event has been its exceptional structure, standing out compared to typical women’s events:

  • Day 1 featured 12 levels of 50 minutes each
  • Day 2 now follows with 60-minute levels
  • Deep starting stacks and measured blind progression allowed for thoughtful, strategic play

The result: real poker — respected, serious, and long overdue.

As one player noted:

“This is what it feels like when women are given a seat at the real table — not just an afterthought.”

Top of the Counts: Lisa S. Leads a Competitive Field

Lisa S. enters Day 2 with 357,000 chips, followed by Jacqueline B. (273,000) and Jamie Kerstetter (255,000). These women head up a strong field, with Marle C. (242,000), Krisha A., Caitlin C., and Cecile T. also holding powerful positions.
