The final table will be live-streamed from the Venetian’s brand-new poker studio, which debuted earlier this year with state-of-the-art production capabilities. Viewers will get a front-row seat to the strategy, skill, and competitive fire of some of the best women in the game today.
At the heart of this historic event is Lupe Soto, founder of Women in Poker, a visionary whose decades-long advocacy has built critical platforms for women in the game. This tournament marks one of her most ambitious initiatives yet.
Joining her is Tommy LaRosa, Poker Room Manager at the Venetian, who has long championed increasing female participation at the tables. He regularly teams up with pro player and commentator Jamie Kerstetter to host Meet-Up Games (MUGs) that foster inclusive, welcoming spaces for women players.
Rebbecca Scales, co-founder of The Real Poker Girls Media and Women Poker News, a brand under the RPGM umbrella, is also partnering in the effort. Her media platforms will play a crucial role in delivering dynamic, authentic coverage of the event.
“I love this because I want the world to see what I already know—these women are competitors, plain and simple,” said Scales. “It’s time they received the recognition they deserve, and I have the platform to help make that happen. The Real Poker Girls Media is 100% women-owned and operated, and because we’re independent, we’re uniquely positioned to give these players an authentic voice.”
Pre-registration is now open, and organizers strongly encourage early sign-up. Not only does it secure a seat in this landmark event, but it also ensures players receive the media attention and visibility they deserve.
With momentum building, the Women in Poker High Roller at the Venetian is shaping up to be a landmark tournament that sets a bold new standard for what’s possible when the poker community comes together to celebrate the women redefining the game.
